Kaia is a versatile pattern that can be made as a top, mini dress or midi dress. There is the option to make the dresses with or without elastic at the waist, and the midi dress has a front slit. The neckline has a simple v-neck at both the front and back, and it is finished with a partial lining. There is a central seam at both the front and back, so it’s perfectly designed for having fun with colour-blocking and mixing contrast fabrics.

Make it in easy cottons and viscose for your everyday look, or go wild with clashing colours for a fun night out.

Fabrics and Notions

The Kaia Dress works well with light to medium weight woven fabrics such as cotton, viscose, tencel, crepe, rayon and bamboo silk.

You will need:

1. Fabric

2. Co-ordinating thread

3. For the dresses with elastic waistband 60cm – 1m of 1.5-2.5cm wide elastic.

Sewing Pattern File Details
